Born in 1992, a native of Citrus
Heights, Rachel Cook developed her artistic abilities at a young age.
She is currently attending Cal Poly Pomona and taking art classes there. She has
been interested in art her entire life thus far, and has taken classes
for the last 6 years. Rachel paints scenes that explore the human subconscious and focus primarily on the issues that hide themselves in the human psyche. Integrating her religious and moral stances in her art, Rachel portrays the underlying issues that are embedded in this generation's society. In some paintings, Rachel uses her own experiences and memories to influence the subject, while in others, she analyzes and illustrates the people that surround her. |
